Try one of the more unusual animal attractions on South Funen at Naturama
Here, the whole family is invited on an educational and fascinating journey through the animal kingdom on water, land, and in the air.
The Natural History Museum today functions as an information and knowledge center, where natural history and nature conservation are in focus. There is space and time for everyone, whether you just want to go and look or participate in some of their many activities.
The beautiful exhibitions of stuffed animals extend over three floors, and are complemented by changing lights, advanced sound, and beautiful films and images that stage the animals in the nature theater. In addition, Naturama's biologists and nature guides offer a wide range of tours and educational activities adapted to level and age. For example, you can experience dissections, shows, hands-on courses, and professional lectures or dissemination events using theatrical means.
Naturama has four established play areas where children and childlike souls can immerse themselves in the world of animals. For example, you can venture into the polar bear and seal cave, experience life as a nocturnal animal in the children's cave, and stop by the dormouse in the dormouse world, as well as the outdoor play area, where it's important not to touch the ground.
If you get hungry along the way, you can visit Café Foderbrættet, and if your vacation money is burning in your pocket, you can find your favorite stuffed animal, rocks and fossils, puzzles, toys, and souvenirs in Naturama's shop.
