Golf holiday in the South Funen Archipelago

Regardless of what kind of golf you are into, we have compiled an overview of the courses that we would like to try and recommend to you who are going on a golf holiday in the South Funen Archipelago. The courses are listed in order from the smallest to the largest distance from our campsites. Langeland Golf Course
If you are considering a golf holiday on Langeland, Langeland Golf Club offers a 54-hectare course where you can play in scenic surroundings all year round.
The 18-hole course is located in Langeland's characteristic landscape, where hilly hills and hilly terrain peppered with lakes and bunkers offer a varied and challenging game of golf. The course is playable all year round, and there are also views of the Langeland Belt, forest and open fields. The club also has a Pay and Play Par 3 course with 6 holes, which can be played by everyone regardless of age and level. Green fee players can also use their driving range and practice area with free practice balls. It is also possible to rent a golf set.
After the game, you can enjoy beer, wine, water or freshly brewed coffee on the partially covered terrace.

Svendborg Golf Club
At Svendborg Golf Club, players of all levels can experience a unique golf facility, which consists of a top-class 18-hole and a 9-hole golf course, as well as a 7-hole par 3 course.
The 18-hole course is located in the hilly nature of South Funen, close to the town of Svendborg and bordering the historic Hvidkilde estate. The 9-hole course starts with 5 holes, which are open and elegantly placed in the beautiful nature. The 4 final holes are located in the old park, where from the highest points at the 8th green and 9th tee there is a fantastic view of the South Funen archipelago with, among other things, Bregninge Church and Ærø on the horizon. The 7 holes of the par 3 course, on the other hand, are located on a relatively flat area with few hazards, and are ideal for practicing length or precise shots.
At the on-site golf restaurant you can enjoy good food and drinks as well as the view of the course, both inside and outside from the terrace. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a member, golfer, or guest.

Brændeskovgård Golf
At Brændeskov you will find a 12-hole course with a hole length from 55 meters to 234 meters and a lake that you have to cross along the way.
The course is Pay and Play so everyone can play on it. There is also no appointment required, and the course is open every day from 8 a.m. to sunset. In the expedition it is also possible to buy toast, ice cream, chocolate and drinks, which can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace with a view of the course and the lovely nature that surrounds the place.

Gudme Golf Club
Visit Denmark's friendliest golf course at Gudme Golf Club, which is located in an apple orchard and cherry-berry grove in the middle of the lovely, southern Funen nature.
Their 9-hole course consists of par 3 holes and three par 4 holes with a hole length from 84 meters to 260 meters. It is designed to be welcoming to new golfers, while also appealing to low handicappers with the quality of the greens. In addition, there is a 250-meter driving range with 21 tees, and a putting green with 9 holes.
The club is Pay and Play, and therefore open to everyone. You can also play golf equipment in the clubhouse, and in the small shop you will find beer, water and coffee with sweets, which can be enjoyed on the sunny terrace.

Midfyns Golf Club
The golf club right in the center of Funen offers an 18-hole course laid out in slightly hilly terrain.
The course was inaugurated in 2008, and has a challenging and varied course of holes, which stretches through beautiful nature with several lakes. From the high-placed tees you also get a good overview of the terrain and the obstacles that await you. Access to the club's driving range, which was upgraded in 2022 and got a ball washing machine, can also be purchased.

Faaborg Golf Club at Dalkildegaard
Take a round of golf in Svanninge Bakker on an extremely well-located golf course, with a historic clubhouse and a truly unique view of the South Funen Archipelago.
The beautiful 18-hole natural course offers almost all the obstacles a golf course can offer. Beyond that there is a 6-hole par-3 course, which is of course maintained at the same level as the main course. On site there is also the stately clubhouse "Dalkildegaard" from 1875, which is almost an attraction in itself, and which was last changed in the 1920s by Countess Caroline Bille Brahe Selby.
It is possible to rent buggies, trolleys and a course guide, and in Café Dalkilden, golfers as well as guests of Svanninge Bakker can also enjoy good food and drinks.

Did you know that what we know today as minigolf was called “dwarf golf” in its early days this century? Today it has become so big that international championships are played all over the world and we can understand why – the popular game is fun and challenging for children and adults of all ages. Visit one or more of the following minigolf courses and see if there is a minigolf champion hidden in you.

Ristinge mini golf
Langeland's best minigolf course is of course here! The course has 18 holes and is laid out on several levels with fountains, flowers and small waterfalls. Buy a single round or a 10-round card in the minimarket right next door, where after the game you can also reward winners or console losers with a big, old-fashioned ice cream cone.

Christiansminde Minigolf
Christiansminde Minigolf themselves write that they are the place that neither can nor will be described – but must be experienced. On site you will find a concrete minigolf course with 18 holes and creative obstacles, and a brand new ice rink, which will be inaugurated in 2023.

Thurø Minigolf in Smørmosen
Try Europe's most fun mini golf course with 20 hand-cast and homemade cement courses built according to your own ideas.
The charming and imaginative course was founded in 1951, and is still family-owned to this day. Along the way, you can, among other things, reach the top of the lighthouse, take a ride on the Ferris wheel, shoot smoke out of the cannon, and pick up the sword from the stone. At the same time, enjoy the up to 6-meter-high roses that surround the course, and satisfy your hunger in the café and ice cream parlor. In the open area, which can be used free of charge by everyone, you will also find a playground, bouncy castle, and plenty of space for activities and various ball games.
